Why is it that it takes so long to learn how to bake well? I have finally perfected the pizza crust and now have decided to move onto bread. What am I thinking... I don’t know. I wonder if I’m taking on a challenge that is just going to end up in the trash. I have decided that I might as well start from the beginning. The way people have been making bread for thousands of years. Sour dough is my primary challenge. I cheated already by adding a little yeast to the starter. My starter is already looking better then the first try. Who cares what the sour dough snobs say. My first loaf is rising right now. We will see how it tastes.
